Perhaps after the depot is restored if there is a Depot Days celebration or something along those lines, maybe have a model railroad club set up their layout (if it is a modular one) and run model trains throughout the festival. If there was enough space, I'm pretty sure that my model railroad club would jump at the chance!

We are beginning a list of ideas for using the depot, in both its present and it its restored condition, for the following purposes:

1. City Hall
2. Midland Historical Society
3. Midland festivals, fund-raising events, and community activities
